I love the movie “ Anne of Green Gables”. It's a wonderful heart warming story of a special young girl who had suffered a very sad childhood. At last she is adopted and comes to live on a farm and for the first time in her life has a family of her own. My sculpture reminds me of a young girl like Anne who joyfully goes out with bare feet on a “Spring Day” to collect the laundry off the wash line in a basket and her little duck friends following along the path behind her, as a gentle breeze blows her apron. | ||
